Some Good News in the Fight Against Inflammation

Some Good News in Health Care

The Journal of the American Medical Association published an article January 6th on allergies and allergy testing.  The article is about identifying the broad spectrum of allergy responses with accurate laboratory testing.

The publishing of this article is very important, it means the new editors of JAMA are interested in identifying allergens over the whole spectrum of testing to identify the sources of inflammation brought on by a weakened over burdened immune system.  Gupta, Ruchi January 4, 2019. Prevalence and Severity of Food Allergies Among U.S. Adults.  JAMA Network Open.

From being in the office, you already know the importance of delayed onset allergy testing to reduce inflammation throughout the body. The article described these as food intolerances.  The other type of allergy reaction is the immediate allergy testing which we are familiar with when we think of an allergist. The skin scratch or blood testing that determines an immediate allergic response.  People who have an Epi-pen handy have the immediate allergy response.

We identify the food intolerant reactive items with the delayed onset ELISA/ACT allergy test. The delayed response testing is for reaction symptoms  beginning  two hours and up to four days later with the inflammation lasting up to three weeks.

In my opinion the publishing of this article means there has been enough high quality allergy testing done with ELISA/ACT laboratory method to stimulate the curiosity of the editorial board at JAMA.

I think it is safe to say, that I myself, as well as most of you reading this, do not fully comprehend how many people suffer with chronic inflammation from back pain to intestinal problems.  The chronic inflammation is actually repair deficits induced by digestive or environmental triggers.  Repair deficit means there is not enough vitamin C, magnesium, probiotics, essential fatty acids, and vitamin D. to restore the body back to health.  The food and environmental triggers are found with accurate testing.

The idea that these inflammatory conditions can be corrected, the immune system can repair itself, and that people can have meaningful happy lives is now becoming a conversation.
